金三角之旅下篇
In the afternoon, we drove to the northernmost town of Thailand - Mae Sai. Mae Sai is only one narrow river apart from Burma's Tachelik. It allows travlers to obtain visa at the border to enter Burma here. Though we were not really interested in visiting Burma (and I heard Tachelik is not really interesting), we eventually made the crossing to another country I had never been to.

The border bridge. It is Burma on the other side. The sign showing: The northernmost point of Thailand. I hadn't passed Thai custom (leaving Thailand) at this point.
A lava rock
You can see how narrow Mae Sai River is. I guess you can even throw a package across the river, from Burma to Thailand.

This is the small river that divide Thailand and Burma. can you believe it?
Possibly the only interesting thing in Tachelik, Burma. This golden pagoda is a miniature version of a huge pagoda in Yangon, the Burmese capital.
這可能是緬甸的大其力唯一比較可看的建築了。不過此佛塔的"原版"在仰光。
