After a morning's walk up and down the Circuito Inferior (Lower Trail) and Circuito Superior (Upper Trails) in Argentina's Parque Nacional Iguaz, I spent the aftenoon in the largest waterfall among the Iguaz Falls - Garganta del Diablo, translated into "Devil's Throat" in English.

Because it is at the far end of the National Park, we had to take a small locomotive to get there. After getting off the mini-train, there is still about 20 to 30 minutes' walk to the head of the Waterfall on an elevated trail.

No more words are needed. Just look at the following pictures to see how grand and powerful this Waterfall is (and what a "deep throat" it is!). This waterfall actually inspired Hong Kong director Wong Kar-Wai for his masterpiece "Happy Together"...

First sighting of Devil's Throat from Circuito Inferior.

View of Devil's Throat from Circuito Superior.

Slightly closer view of Devil's Throat from Circuito Superior. Those smaller falls at the left are at the Barillian side. These waterfalls are so powerful that they are mostly shielded in mist.

After walking on the elevated trail for 20 minutes, I had my first close look of Devil's Throat.

Just next to the head of the Fall, from the viewing platform.

I can felt the power of the Fall almost pulling me down...is that just like love at the first sight?

Looking toward to Brazilian side (in Parque Nacional do Iguaçu) of the Fall. I would visit that nice cafeteria on the other side the next day.

With Devil's Throat and the Brazilian Falls (and the cafeteria) behind me

Standing right in front of the Devil's Throat.

This picture is just to show you how popular this site is. I was worried that there might have been an overload on this small viewing platform.

Take a break from all these waterfall pictures...Just show you a wild flower in the National Park...
