1997年，俄羅斯的旅遊行程在台灣還沒開始發燒，經濟仍很不穩定的俄國仍在用“舊盧布”(那時已慘跌到一美元兌6000盧布)。我和母親決定由美國報名英美旅行社 Uniworld 的俄羅斯旅遊團。和一般陸地為主的行程不同的是，此團全程都睡在遊輪上，我們一路由莫斯科經水路玩到聖彼得堡。除沿著窩瓦河(Volga River，歐洲第一長的河)及一些帝俄時期開建的小運河外，還玩到了不太容易到達的北俄湖中小島，有UNESCO指定人類文化遺棄遺跡的齊濟木造洋蔥頂教堂。大部份都在下面的相簿中，敬請一頁一頁，慢慢欣賞。

It was a great autum trip to Russia (with a side trip stopover in Switzerland) after another hard-working summer (as a student, I work full-time in the summer and actually had less time). Unfortunately, September is a little too chilly to visit Russia. (Though the weather was still great in Switzerland well into October).
