A little girl in traditional costume
  • A lot of girls and women dressed in traditional costumes wander around the various historic sites in the Sacred Valley. I have to say this cute little girl is my favorite!
Sunday Market at Pisac
  • Every Sunday in the town of Pisac, hundreds of locals and tourists gather for the interesting Sunday Market. Dazzling arrays of foods, handicarfts, and traditional costumes are on display. Things are relatively cheap and haggling is fun. I just couldn't stop buying!
Trail near the Pisac ruin, Sacred Valley
  • Pisac ruin is a highlight of the Sacred Valley. It hangs high above the town of Pisac. Of course, it is not a easy trail to climb up there!
Me along the way on the Pisac Trail
  • I look quite happy doing this trekking. Do I look like having serious altitude sickness a day ago?
  • The background is the Sacred Valley, a valley carved by Urubamba River. This river passes by the foothills of Machu Picchu and into the Amazon Jungle. It is a tributary of the Amazons, the largest river on earth.

More to come......
