Lima

首善之都利馬

Created June, 1999

Lima, the capital city of Peru, has more than 7 million habitant in its narrow coastal belt. Most guide books called it messy and charmless city. In fact, it is more interesting than its reputation. There are a lot of Spanish colonial architecture and very vibrant street life.
Wen-Hung in front of Lima Cathedral, Plaza Mayor
Wen-Hung at Plaz Mayor
  • Another picture of me taken at Plaza Mayor....
In front of Sigh Bridge, Barranco District
  • It is said that if a person holding his/her breath when crossing the bridge, his/her wishes made will come true. It is not that easy to hold your breath all the way crossing this long bridge, but I made it. Guess what wish I made....
At the Pachacamac ruin
  • This huge ruin, with a spetacular view of the Pacific Coast, is less than 25 miles away from Lima

More to come......
