  • This is view from the farm house I stayed on the Tequile Island. The other side of the Lake is already Bolivia. Isn't the deep blue color of Titica really beautiful?
An ancient gate on the Tequile Island
  • There are a lot steep mountain roads on the Tequile Island. It is exhausting to climb up the roads while I still recovered from the altitude sickness. When we saw a gate like this, we know it's time for a break!
On a totola boat (reed boat) with a dragon head
  • Everything on the floating islands were made of reeds, including the boats. It is called Totola. It cost 3 sols (less than 1 US$) for a Totola ride.

  • I bought a taperstry from this woman, so she gladly let me take a picture of her with her merchandise. No, this one is not the taperstry I bought....
