Costa del Sol

Created June, 1999

Costa del Sol (or known as Sunshine Coast) is a bit of disappointment for me, even it is one of the most famous Mediterranean resort area. Torremolinos (where my Contiki Group stayed) is ugly; Malaga (the largest city in the region) is charmless. Even the glamorous Marbella (according to the quidebooks) is still sleeping when I got there (at 3:00 pm). The only place may be of interest is the one not letting me enter (I didn't have a British visa to get in Gilbratar). Whatever....
Marbella
  • The quaint street of downtown Marbella. It was 'only' 3:00 pm, so most vacationers haven't waken up for breakfast yet, I guess....

  • The picture of me and the famous Gilbratar Rock. This picture was taken at the Spanish side (a town called La Linea) because I couldn't get into Gilbratar.....
