Tikal Mayan Complex
Deep in the Jungle of El Peten (Guatemala's far north that borders Mexico), stands the Tikal Mayan archaeological site. Certainly the most striking buildings in the Tikal complex are the towering pyramids. I only chose 8 pictures to put them on this sites, though I've taken many more pictures. Unfortunately, this is also where I lost my camera.

Templo 2
Templo (Temple) 2 in the Grand Plaza, it is also one of the most famous symbols in Mayan architecture. Different angle of the Templo 2, with me in the foreground.
On top of the pyramid.
I climbed more than 300 steps to get to the top of Temple 4, to get this picture. Now I feel I am the king of the world (or at least, the king of the Mayan Jungle).

It is called "los seite templos" (the seven temples. They are not yet completely digged out. You can still see the roots surrounding these temples.
