2003 was a very busy year for me. Career wise, I juggled with three different types of jobs (research, teaching, public health field work) at once. It ended up that I did not have chance to plan my annual "grand trip" aboard. Fortunately, I was able to squeeze about a week's vacation by the end of the year to a new country I had never been - Ecuador!!
