Day 7
Another full day at sea

Date: March 16, 2007
Place: Somewhere in the middle of Caribbean Sea

It is the final full day on Serenade of the Sea

Though I am still alone (and somewhat feeling lonely) most of the time, I was a little sad that this trip is gonna end. But that is good because I still have many things I have to work out ahead of me. That, includes a citizenship exam in Baltimore. It is less than 2 weeks from today.

Again, I slept until very late - 1:30 pm!! Fortunately, the Reflection Dining Room opens for "brunch" until 2:30pm, so I still have time to have my final pieces of smoked salmon.

This afternoon, the final poolside dance party is held. The theme is "Beach Ball." It sort of reminds me of some nice beach parties I witnessed in Ibiza or Miami Beach. They do play the remix of those "Dreamgirls" song again. Including Beyonce's "Listen"

"Listen! I am alone in the crossroad, I'm not at home in my own home, But I've tried and tried.."

Strangely, after so many complaints about being alone, I actually enjoyed these past 7 days. But still, feeling somewhat "not at home." Also feeling left out, I guess. But damn... and I'm telling you I'm not going.....

So that is it, this cruise vacation is over. I know I will not come on a cruise alone again next time. Have you heard me? Nelson, Paolo, and many other friends... those who are not around when I need you?

Tomorrow I will leave the boat and heading home first thing in the morning. And tomorrow, is another day. However....

The main atrium of Serenade of the Sea. It's almost the time to say goodbye to our ship.

Look down to the main lobby bar.
