The country "definition is based on a list of Travelers' Century Club, an organization that only people who visited 100 countries and more are eligible for membership. You can check their Master Country List here by clicking the link. They also have rules ¡§how they define a "country". Yes, many places you traditionally do not consider a "country" (I do not mean Hong Kong since I've always think they should be counted separately from China!) and counted separately by this organization. However, the looser definition does help to increase my country count!
